Our story

Wycombe Cleaning Co launched in 2026 out of a simple frustration: cleaning companies that over-promise and under-deliver. Late arrivals. Skipped rooms. End-of-tenancy jobs that lose tenants their deposit because the oven was still greasy. Airbnb turnovers rushed so hard the next guest finds crumbs in the sofa. We built this company to be the opposite of that.

We are starting small — one team, one van, and a simple promise. Turn up on time. Clean to a written checklist. Fix anything that is not right, free. That is how we intend to run this business in year one and in year ten. No franchise model, no call centre, no growth for growth's sake. Just a local cleaning service where the same people clean the same homes, week after week.

Who we are

We are a small, tight-knit local team. Every cleaner is DBS-checked before they set foot in a client's home. Our team lives in Wycombe, Marlow, Hazlemere, and the surrounding villages. When you book a weekly clean, you get the same cleaner. When you book an end-of-tenancy job, you get a team lead trained to the letting-agent inspection checklist. No agency turnover, no last-minute cancellations because a contractor bailed.

Our founder still works on the vans. That is deliberate. It keeps us honest, keeps standards up, and means the person who designs our checklists is the same person who uses them in a real kitchen, on a real Saturday, with a real deposit on the line.

• Real guarantees. For every end-of-tenancy clean we offer a 48-hour re-clean guarantee. If your letting agent flags anything in the inventory check, we come back and fix it at no cost. Not "we will see what we can do" — we return.
• Eco-conscious. We use eco-friendly cleaning products as standard. Strong chemicals only where genuinely needed (heavy limescale, oven carbon, grout mould). Your home does not need to smell like a swimming pool to be clean.
• Fair to staff. Our cleaners are paid above London Living Wage, get holiday pay, and work from a realistic schedule. Rushed cleaners cut corners. Paid, rested cleaners do the job right.

Why local matters

High Wycombe is not London. The housing stock is different, the letting agents are different, and the expectations are different. A four-bed period cottage in Great Missenden needs a different approach from a new-build flat in Loudwater.
