Short version: this website sets no cookies on visitors' devices. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, and no consent banner, because there is nothing non-essential to consent to.
This policy explains how Wycombe Cleaning Co Ltd ("we", "our", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.wycombecleaning.co.uk. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more generally.
1. Cookies we set
Exactly one, and only for our own staff:

wc_admin— a signed session cookie set only after a successful staff login to our internal admin area. It is HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, and expires after 14 days. It contains an expiry timestamp and a signature — no personal data. If you are a visitor to this site, you will never receive it.
That is the complete list. We set no analytics, preference, advertising or social cookies.
2. What we do instead of analytics cookies
When you tap a phone number or WhatsApp link on this site, your browser sends a small background request to our own server noting which type of link was clicked and which page it was clicked from. Nothing is stored on your device to do this — no cookie, no local storage, no device fingerprint — so the request cannot follow you between visits or between sites.
Our server also records the referring page, your browser's user-agent string, and a one-way salted hash of your IP address. The hash cannot be reversed back to your address; we use it to stop the same source flooding our forms. Full detail is in section 2 of the Privacy Policy.
3. Third parties
- Formspree — receives your submission when you send one of our forms. Cookies it sets are set on its own domain during that submission, under its own policy.
- WhatsApp — if you follow a WhatsApp link you leave this site and WhatsApp's own terms and cookies apply.
We embed no third-party scripts, fonts, maps, videos or trackers. Fonts are self-hosted precisely so your browser makes no request to an external font provider.
4. Controlling cookies
There is nothing on this site to opt out of. You can still manage cookies for any site in your browser settings:
Blocking cookies entirely will not break this site for visitors, since we do not rely on any.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed standard for honouring it, but the question is academic here: we do not track you across sites either way.
6. Changes
If we ever add analytics or any other non-essential technology, this page will be updated and a consent mechanism will be added at the same time — not afterwards.
