What can affect the price

Our quote is always fixed, but these are the things that move it up or down within the range above.

Property condition

A lightly lived-in 2-bed flat is quicker than the same flat after 5 years of tenants with pets. Heavily soiled properties sit at the top end of the range or may need a deep clean first.

Add-ons

Oven, carpets, interior windows, and inside cupboards are priced separately. We list every add-on upfront so you can pick what you actually want.

Distance beyond our radius

Prices are flat across the full 40-mile radius from High Wycombe — no travel surcharge. Jobs outside that zone are quoted case by case before we commit.

Timing (weekends, urgent)

Sundays and bank holidays have a 20% surcharge. Urgent same-day jobs have a 15% surcharge where we have to reshuffle existing bookings.

Access

Flats above the 3rd floor without a lift, or properties with no parking within 5 minutes, sometimes add a small time uplift. Always quoted before we start.

Frequency

Weekly cleans are our lowest per-visit rate. Fortnightly is ~10% more per visit. Monthly and one-offs cost the most per visit because we commit a whole slot.

Payment methods

Pay on completion. No booking fees, no subscription traps. £50 holding deposit only on one-off end-of-tenancy and after-builders jobs (applied to your final invoice). We accept:

Debit and credit cards via our mobile terminal. No surcharge for cards.

BACS transfer

Standard for commercial and letting-agent accounts. Invoice emailed monthly, 14-day payment terms.

Pricing FAQs

Are these prices fixed or estimates?

These are our standard starting prices. Once we understand the property size and condition, we give you a fixed quote — not an estimate. The only way the price changes is if the property is significantly different from what you described.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

Yes. All prices shown on this page are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. The price you see is the price you pay on completion. Receipts and invoices itemise VAT separately for commercial clients and letting agents who need it for accounting.

Do I pay for cleaning products and equipment?

No. All products (Method, Ecover, and Bio-D as standard), cloths, mops, vacuums, ladders, and specialist equipment are included in the price. You do not need to supply anything.

Is there a minimum booking fee?

Our minimum callout is £50 (typically a 2-hour residential clean). Airbnb turnovers start at £55 because they are a fixed scope.

Do you charge extra for weekends or bank holidays?

Saturdays are standard rate. Sundays and bank holidays carry a 20% surcharge. Urgent same-day bookings carry a 15% surcharge if we have to move existing jobs around.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, debit/credit card (via our mobile terminal), or BACS bank transfer. Payment is on completion for most jobs — no deposits on recurring work. One-off end-of-tenancy and after-builders cleans carry a £50 holding deposit, which is applied to your final invoice.

Why do one-off end-of-tenancy jobs need a deposit?

One-off cleans book a half-day slot exclusively for you — with no-shows we lose the slot entirely. A £50 holding deposit confirms the slot and is applied to your final invoice. Recurring work does not need a deposit because the ongoing relationship gives both sides certainty.

Do you charge call-out fees or travel fees?

No. Our published prices apply flat across the full 40-mile radius from High Wycombe — no call-out fee and no per-mile travel surcharge. Jobs outside the 40-mile radius are quoted case by case.

Do regular customers get a discount?

Yes. Weekly cleans are our lowest per-visit rate. Fortnightly cleans are about 10% more per visit than weekly. One-off cleans cost more because we are committing a full half-day slot just for you.

What are your terms for letting agents and commercial clients?

Commercial clients and letting-agent accounts invoice monthly with 14-day BACS terms. A signed service agreement sets the scope, pricing, and SLAs up front. Ask for our agent one-pager (agent checklist, insurance certificate, re-clean SLA) at agents@wycombecleaning.co.uk.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation with more than 24 hours notice. Cancellations within 24 hours of the booked slot are charged at 50% to cover the lost slot. See our full terms for details.
