In Summary

Wycombe Cleaning Co provides professional oven cleaning in High Wycombe and across a 40-mile radius. We use a heated dip-tank for racks and trays and low-odour gels for the cavity, glass door, hob and extractor — so your oven comes back de-carbonised, not just wiped. Products are fumeless and food-safe, meaning you can cook the same day. Work is quoted per appliance, and carried out by DBS-checked cleaners with £2M public liability insurance.

What We Clean

Every part of the oven — and the kitchen with it.

Not just the door you can see, but the parts that carry the grease.

The oven interior

Base, roof, sides and the fan housing — de-carbonised back to the enamel, not just wiped over the worst of it.

Racks, trays & grill pans

Removed and soaked in a heated dip-tank that lifts baked-on carbon a scourer never will.

Glass door

Inside, outside and — where the door panel unclips — between the double glazing, so it actually looks clear again.

Hobs, extractors & more

Gas grates, ceramic and induction tops, extractor filters and hoods; microwaves, AGAs and range cookers on request.

How We Do It

The method, step by step.

The dip-tank is the difference. Racks soak while the cavity is treated, so both come back properly — not one at the expense of the other.

1

Protect your kitchen

Floor and worktops are covered before anything starts — no drips, no mess left behind.

2

Racks into the dip-tank

Shelves, trays and pans come out and go into a heated de-carbonising tank to soak while we work on the cavity.

3

Treat the interior

A cleaning gel is applied across the cavity and left to dwell, breaking down the burnt-on grease and carbon.

4

Agitate & lift the carbon

The softened build-up is scraped and worked off the base, roof and fan — the step that separates a real clean from a spray-and-wipe.

5

Glass, hob & extractor

The door glass is cleared (between the panes where accessible), then the hob, grates and extractor filter are degreased.

6

Rinse, reassemble, ready

Everything is rinsed of residue and refitted. Low-odour products mean you can cook the same day — no waiting, no fumes.

Build-Up & Outcomes

What lifts off — and what's permanent.

Grease and carbon come off. Heat damage doesn't. Here's the honest breakdown before you book.

Build-up Our approach Realistic outcome
Burnt-on carbon (base & roof) Dwell-time gel, then agitation and scrape-off Removed back to the enamel in the vast majority of ovens
Blackened door glass Panel unclipped and cleaned between the glazing where the model allows Usually clear again; sealed non-openable doors are cleaned as far as access allows
Greasy racks & trays Heated dip-tank soak Restored — the single biggest visible difference on most jobs
Clogged extractor filter Degrease and soak (or replace if disposable) Airflow and appearance restored
Self-clean / pyrolytic liners Non-abrasive method that protects the catalytic coating Cleaned without stripping the liner
Heat-etched or discoloured enamel Assessed before we start Permanent enamel damage will not reverse — we tell you before, not after
What It Costs

Quoted per appliance.

A single oven, a double, a range and an AGA are different jobs — so oven cleaning is priced per appliance, with any extras added clearly. Your quote depends on:

  • Oven type — single, double, range or AGA
  • How heavy the carbon build-up is
  • Add-ons: hob, extractor, microwave
  • Number of appliances in one visit

Tell us the make and type, or send a photo — we confirm a fixed price before booking, with nothing added on the day.

Why Choose Us

The clean you can't do yourself.

Supermarket oven spray and elbow grease get you halfway. The dip-tank and the dwell-time gels get you the rest — safely, and without the fumes.

A dip-tank, not a wipe

The heated tank is what actually gets racks and trays back to bare metal. A cloth and spray cannot do it — this is why professional oven cleaning is worth it.

Low-odour, cook the same day

We use fumeless products, so there is no lingering chemical smell and nothing to air out. Your oven is food-safe and ready as soon as we leave.

Deposit-critical for checkouts

The oven is the single most-flagged item on end-of-tenancy inspections. If you are moving out, this is the job that protects your deposit.

Honest about the enamel

Heat-etched glass and stained enamel from years of use will not always come back. We tell you what is dirt and what is permanent before we quote.

Asked Often

Oven cleaning, answered.

How much does oven cleaning cost in High Wycombe?

Oven cleaning is quoted per appliance, because a single built-in oven, a double oven, a range cooker and an AGA are very different jobs. Add-ons like the hob, extractor or a microwave are priced on top. Tell us the make and type — or send a photo — and we will confirm a fixed price before we book, with nothing added on the day.

How long does an oven clean take?

A single built-in oven is usually done in 1 to 3 hours on-site, depending on how heavy the build-up is. Double ovens, ranges and AGAs take longer. We work in your kitchen — the racks go into a dip-tank we bring with us, so nothing leaves your home.

Can I use the oven straight after?

Yes. We use low-odour, food-safe products and rinse off all residue, so there are no fumes to air out and nothing to burn off first. Your oven is ready to cook in as soon as we have finished and reassembled it.

Do you clean the racks and trays?

Always — and it is where you see the biggest difference. Racks, trays, grill pans and shelves are removed and soaked in a heated de-carbonising tank while we clean the cavity, then rinsed and refitted.

Can you clean between the door glass?

On most ovens, yes. Where the door panel unclips, we separate it and clean the inner faces of the double glazing that trap grease and streaks. On sealed doors that are not designed to open, we clean the glass as thoroughly as the access allows.

Do you clean self-cleaning, pyrolytic or catalytic ovens?

Yes, with a non-abrasive method that protects the catalytic liner or pyrolytic coating. Those coatings are easily damaged by harsh scrubbing, so they need cleaning differently — which is exactly why a careful professional clean is safer than doing it yourself.

Do you also clean hobs, extractors and microwaves?

Yes — gas grates, ceramic and induction hobs, extractor filters and hoods, microwaves, and range cookers are all available alongside the oven. Bundle them into your quote and we will price the whole kitchen in one visit.
